It affects an entire family AND community. Unfortunately, it’s incredibly common, but that doesn’t make it normal. No Nation can raise higher than their woman. We are the center of the family unit. We are the creatresses. If our womb isn’t right, the entire household feels it – and the community, for generations.
Aremisa is known as the Indigenous Doula, and is a womb healing specialist, birth doula, community herbalist, teacher and businesswoman. She has been serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the past 16 years in various community projects. Aremisa has always been dedicated to the empowerment of expecting mothers, helping to create stronger family units within her community.
